Miyoung Yoo has 23 years of professional experience in the commercial business sector and aspires to use what she has learned in her career in helping nonprofits, especially, utilizing the technologies to solve the social and economic challenges. Until May 2023, she served as a Leader of the Digital Innovation Program and the Cloud Innovation Center for the public sector in Korea at Amazon Web Services (AWS). During her tenure at AWS, she led AWS challenge programs, including a project on Stopping TIP (Trafficking in Person) in partnership with IOM and NGOs in South Korea.

Prior to AWS, she worked for Deloitte Consulting, KPMG Consulting, AIG, and LG Electronics. She possesses cross-functional teamwork, analytical, and presentation skills, and ability to lead and manage projects in diverse domestic and international settings. She was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and have a master’s degree in management information systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
