Advocacy and Integration of Migrants

Introduction.
This report focuses on the backwardness of higher education in Somalia and the reasons why Somali students are adapting to foreign universities and getting acceptance from recognized universities in the world. This report is a recommendation and is relevant to the Somali Ministry of Education. I have summarized how Somalia can improve its education and connect it to the most famous universities in the world.

Dear Minister, I have decided to share with you this research that I have done.

Notice: This is an introductory report, as I promised, so now you want to know about the accreditation of universities in and outside the United States, so go to the universities in the world and ask if their education is recognized. I was surprised that many students are from Somalia. Faideysty has been misled and lost to universities in Malaysia, Egypt and Uganda which are on the list of recognized universities in those countries, and this issue has been discovered by the spies of the fake universities in Somalia who are agents or representatives of the universities they have destroyed. Most standard, full-service colleges and universities will be accredited by one of 6 regional accrediting agencies. All of these regional accreditors are recognized by both the Department of Education and CHEA. They are:
So in 2016 I started working at a school in Canada and was an International Student Recruiter. I wanted to help Somali students come to Canada. There are 3 challenges.
1. Students coming to Canadian universities must pass the IELTS, TOEFl test. There is no test center in SOMALIA. So they have to go to neighboring countries.
2. When the student applies for graduate studies such as masters. The regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Canadian provinces include sending it to the IQAS International Qualification Assessment Center. To assess that the subjects they have studied are equivalent to those in Canada. Unfortunately, Somali students do not attend universities that do not have international recognition. You do not see an example of a Somali student studying at Makareri University, Nairobi University, Delhi University, which are partner universities with North American universities. The reason they were going is because the entrance to the university is difficult and the language has to be a test that is equivalent to a high school such as those that enter American universities called SAT or CAT tests are equivalent. Somali students are not prepared and some of them have obtained high school diplomas from the market. It is wanted when a university that does not have any recognition in the world and passes the license like Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Malaysia, India, has something to increase. Some of these universities have been brought to Somalia, such as Admas University, a new generation university. That is why Canada rejected their transcript.

3. Somali passport. It is not recognized by many countries including Canada. These reasons were brought by the Somali Immigration Branch.

Finally. In my 13 years of doing research I have come to the following conclusions.

1. TO open centers for language tests such as TOEFL and IELTS in Somalia

2. That the universities and high schools in Somalia improve their quality of education by linking them to North American universities.

3. To make the Somali passport in the form of IATA and biometrics system.

So if it is up to the Somali government to deal with these issues, I am ready to volunteer in Somalia with the help of the Somali Immigration Department, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
