African Diaspora is increasingly becoming a critical player in humanitarian efforts in Africa. In most situations, African Diaspora humanitarian efforts are not coordinated nor integrated with global efforts. To change this situation, IOM Washington and the ADEA Community are partnering to increase awareness of Diaspora contributions and generate recommendations for increasing coordination for African Diaspora Humanitarian activities.
