The iDiaspora Advisory Board is as diverse as the intended users of the platform and was established to advice on conceptual, operational and content areas of the platform and ensure the sustainability of the initiative. The Advisory Board consists of recognized diaspora leaders from diverse private and public sector backgrounds who are willing to dedicate their expertise in a wide range of areas including website design, private sector development, academia and diaspora empowerment​ to make iDiaspora an effective tool for diasporas and those that work with them.
