The Armed Truth (in German: Die Bewaffnete Wahrheit) is a student-organized project based in the Universität Potsdam. The student organizers are Ukrainian-born master students Danylo Poliluev-Schmidt and Yevhenii Surianev, and American-born master student Noah MacKay. In collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) and the Initiative für Wissensaustausch, Empowerment und Kultur e.V. (IWEK), the students lead a semester-long seminar on the contemporary history of independent Ukraine, have journalists from Ukraine (as well as from Poland and Germany) speak as guest lecturers, and lead an exhibition containing photographs, taken by Pulitzer Prize winning photographers, of the 2013/14 Revolution of Dignity.
