The objective of this research project was to conduct a feasibility study on attracting diaspora investors by offering to them investment opportunities on economic zones. In addition, the option to invest on local level economic zones through PPP initiatives was also researched and evaluated.

This study explores the possibility of establishing a diaspora-targeted Investment Fund for investment opportunities in the private sector of Kosovo. The study offers the most suitable model and investment strategy for such a Fund based on consultations with diaspora members and takes into considerations the limitations and risks of the business environment in Kosovo.

The objective of this exploratory research project was to evaluate and study the feasibility of offering municipal bonds to the Kosovar diaspora. In order to address the objective, the main exploratory research techniques applied were focus groups and one-on-one in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders such as businesses, business support organizations, governmental (central and local level) and non-governmental institutions, members of the Kosovar diaspora, and international organizations operating in Kosovo.

As migrações africanas são quantitativamente muito importantes, tanto em termos de rácio relativamente à população, como em números absolutos, quando comparados com outras zonas do mundo. Ancorados na história africana, nos tempos mais recentes os movimentos migratórios têm-se desenvolvido  e tornado mais complexos. Os destinos multiplicaram-se e os itinerários alongaram-se (FIDH, 2007).

This study sought to explore the various ways through which the Government of Kenya can involve its diasporas in human development. This research examines the Kenyan case on how migrants within developing countries, especially within the Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP) countries, can be involved in national development in Kenya.

This is a study on the engagement of the Haitian diaspora in the Caribbean. The study enables further understanding of migration models in other destinations. The absence of the Dominican Republic as a case study is due, among other reasons, to the many studies that have focused on it already. This fact has enabled a concentration on three lesser-known cases.

This study researches the social-economic profile of Moldovan citizens temporarily or permanently staying abroad, persons originating from the Republic of Moldova and their descendants, as well as their communities, in order to help the Moldovan Government develop migration management policies.

The primary objectives of this study are the specification of the socio-demographic and economic profile of Moldovan migrants and representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in the Russian Federation, their adaptation issues, future personal and family plans and potential of investment in the economy of Moldova and Russia.
