As part of the global HRP launch, the UN's Emergency Coordinator announced a $60 million USD Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) allocation to UN agencies, including IOM. IOM continues to support ministries, border authorities, partners, and people on the move to enhance preparedness at prioritized points of entry, include screening, awareness-raising, and flow monitoring. IOM is adjusting its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease, ensuring the continuity of operations and accountability to the people it serves.
