I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio as were my parents and their parents and so forth. I have always desired to know more about my African ancestry so I purchased an ancestry.com test. From that test, I learned that my West African heritage consisted of Ghana, Togo, Beign, Cameroon and Congo. So I decided to travel to African to see my culture and to learn of my heritage first hand. To date, I have traveled to 9 countries in African and am now interested in relocating to the motherland and gaining citizenship. I have started a blog to share my travel experiences at www.diasporareturns.com and have started a travel consultant agency to encourage more African Americans to return to Africa.
