As one of the founding members of a non-profit organization in Atlanta, Georgia, The Foundation for Men Awareness Inc. I was exposed and learned about Human Trafficking and received some training with Juvenile Justice Fund/ Rescue and Restore, both of whom are Federal Government units dealing with human trafficking and other crimes.
I also received certified training from Counter Trafficking Unit National Security of Trinidad & Tobago. The format of the training was classroom, giving me great hands on knowledge and information equipping me with the relevant skills to go out in communities to educate the general public.
Here are the areas I got some insight and general knowledge during the workshops.
Community Awareness and Education; Youth Awareness and Safety; Deterring Traffickers and Buyers; Keeping At-Risk Youth Safe; Apprehending, Investigating, and Prosecuting; Examining Labor, Foreign-Born, and Adult Sex Trafficking; Survivors Supported and Protected; Survivors Recovering and Thriving, trauma and Child Protection
Since obtaining the training I have effectively conducted many community awareness programs in The United States and Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom. I have also conducted Human Trafficking seminars “LOOK BENEATH THE SURFACE” within the Seventh Day Adventist Church of the South Caribbean Conference also the Tobago Missions and other denominations. I have also partnered with the Counter Trafficking Unit in doing several local programs and was by The South Caribbean Conference of Seventh Day Adventist and CARU.
I have also been endorsed the National Parent Teacher Association of Trinidad and Tobago and and The Then Minister of Education Dr. The Honarable Nyan Gadsby Dolly. through my “ICAN Initiative” which is set to train all school administrators within the school system of Trinidad and Tobago.
I have been endorced by government Senators in my country for the work I contribute to our nation. I received my Doctor of divinity Degree from Grace University USA. I also was trained as a Certified Church Planting Trainered by DCPI. My training has been intense in various public safety disciplines by International Public Safety Association in the United States of America, too many certifications to mention.
I am also the proud owner, founder and creator of 19 online radio stations with over 10,000 loyal listeners per month.
I continue to educate the public globally on the issue of human trafficking to make our world a safer and better place to live in.
