Diasporas helping their communities: what is it like to assist communities during a crisis?
when I see a community in crisis I feel sorry for it, but my feelings when I help a community in crisis I am very happy. because it is one of our virtues to help the community. The Indonesian nation is famous for its trademark, namely mutual cooperation, in which there is empathy, namely the ability to understand and feel the feelings and situations of others. Daniel Goleman, the person who coined the term "Emotional Intelligence", identifies three types of empathy. The first is cognitive empathy, which comes from trying to understand the other person's point of view. The second is social empathy, the ability to relate to other people's feelings or understand how others feel. The last and most important is the ability to empathize with concerns. The three forms of empathy build good interpersonal skills by increasing sensitivity to the feelings of others.
