I grew up in Swiss and moved to Canada as an adult. I travelled 2 years ago to Africa, Somalia for the first time in my life. My parents thought me about my culture and country of origin and fell in love with Africa. I decided since then to get involved and learn more about it. Past 2 years I focused on learning the language and culture and have been involved in lots of works the help develop the country and assist the people. I visited many refugees camps and different regions, the pain I experienced talking to the people and more specifically the kids is indescribable. I am a mother of 3 and my kids are in older now. Getting involved in helping people and giving back is my passion and I do have the time to do so.

Restore Somalia Foundation (RSF) is committed to work toward public awareness and understanding of public policy processes at Federal and regional State levels. While we facilitate mediation and discussions among the diverse stakeholders, we also strive to achieve a dialogue and round table-based discussions. Our focus is on long-term drought relief programs, education systems, youth preparation and empowerment, and restoration of the country’s socioeconomic and political stability.

Our Mission
Given the impact of widespread Somali civil war, RSF strives to rebuild Somali Communities by providing necessary tools including but not limited to economic and educational reconstruction, political reform, and an adequate institutional framework that empowers social mobility.
